Criminal Abuse of duty as a public officer as defined in terms of Section 174(1) of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act Chapter 9:23
During the period extending from 2012 to December 2017 and at Gokwe Town Council, the accused persons acted contrary to their duties, took 900 stands which had been allocated to the Ministry of Local Gvt, Rural and Urban Development as commonage by Gokwe Town Council and offered the said stands to Striatious World Marketing Company for development and selling to members of the public. Thereby prejudicing the State in the sum of $900 000.00
