Accused is employed as a Social Services Officer under the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Services. He was attached to the Drought Relief Programme.Accused stole 600 x 50kgs of grain maize on the pretext that he was taking it for the Drought Relief Programme to Ward 25 Magunje. He instead took maize to Waterfalls, Harare and sold it. Total prejudiced is $11 500.00.
